Gamini Singla is an Indian Administrative Service officer who cracked UPSC Civil Service Aptitude Test, one of the world toughest exam.[1] She is also the author of the book How I Topped UPSC, You Can Too.
Personal life
She was born in 1998 to Alok Singla and Neeraj Singla at Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.[3] She hails from Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, India.[4] She done B. Tech in computer science and engineering from Punjabi Engineering College and passed out in 2019.[5] Her parents are medical officers in Government of Himachal Pradesh.[6] She took sociology as an optional subject.[7] On her first attempt she could not pass UPSC Civil Service Aptitude Test.[8]
Gamini Singla, a student at Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh, secured the third position in the coveted Civil Services Exam, in her second attempt.
