Rafael Abrahamyan (born 14 May 1989) is an Armenian mixed martial artist (MMA) who competes in the Featherweight division.[1][2] MMA champion of the international OPEN FC tournament. BMF champion[3][4]
Career
Rafael Abrahamyan began his MMA career in 2019, when he defeated Batukhan Akduman from Turkey with a choke hold. Next, on 26 December 2020, he beat Sylvester Dukla by knockout. In a difficult confrontation with Litvinenko from Ukraine, it ended in a victory for Abrahamyan with a choke hold. On 4 July 2021, in Krasnodar, Abrahamyan defeated Frenchman Patrick Mbond and became the world champion in MMA, taking the BMF belt for OPEN FC.
