    Kanikka Kapur (born 4 March 1995) is an Indian film and television actress.[1] She currently[when?] portrays the role of Captain Suman Tiwari in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2.[2][3]

    Career[edit | edit source]

    Kanikka started making short films at the age of 13. She participated in many theatre plays while she was in college. After her graduation, she started her career as a model. She has won various beauty pageants like ‘Miss Mood Indigo 2013,’ ‘Femina Style Diva North 2014' and 'Miss Mood Indigo 2015'.

    In 2015, she won the title of ‘Miss Asia 2015.’ The contest was held at the Le Meridian, Kochi and she won the cash prize of Rs 5 lakhs. In 2018, she participated in India's Next Superstar and acted in A Gift of Love: Sifar , she also featured in a music video Noor.

    In 2020, she debuted in the Television by SonyTV's Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 along with Mohit Kumar. [4]

    She attended Delhi Public School, Mathura Road in New Delhi for her schooling. Later, she did her graduation in Journalism & Mass Communication from New Delhi. Her father’s name is Sunny Kapur who works as a mechanical engineer. Her mother’s name is Vimmi Kapur. She has one sister Karishma Kapur. Her grandfather, Surrinder Lal Kapur worked as a Non-Executive Chairman at Yes Bank, and he is an IAS Officer of 1960 batch. Her grandmother’s name is Shashi. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, and travelling. She owns a pet dog Koko.[4]
