Ravi Kumar Sonkar is an Indian politician and a member of 17th Legislative Assembly of Basti, Uttar Pradesh of India. He represents the Mahadewa constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1][2][3]

Sonkar has been a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Since 2017, he has represented the Mahadewa constituency and is a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party.[1] He defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Doodhram by a margin of 25,884 votes.[4]
