Sayantan Ghosal is an Indian film director primarily associated with the Bengali movie industry. He has directed movies like Jawker Dhan, Sagardwiper Jawker Dhan, Satyanweshi Byomkesh and many more. He previously directed Byomkesh S1-S3 for Hoichoi and then revisited the Web Series scene with Lalbazaar, streaming at Zee 5, starring the likes of Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakraborty, Sauraseni Maitra, Hrishitaa Bhatt. Lalbazaar's official presenter was popular Actor Ajay Devgn himself.
Sayantan Ghosal's undergoing projects include Tenida starring Kanchan Mallick and "Swastik Sanket", starring popular actress and current Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Nusrat Jahan.
Ghosal has also formed his own Infotainment Media Venture The Bong Junction (www.facebook.com/thebongjunction) based in Tollygunge, Kolkata. He is currently the Director of the Venture, co-founded by him, Shrey Banerjee, Subhadeep Ghosh and Sanjib Banerji . The Venture focuses on infotainment at a large scale across Bengal and India and even plans to produce its own video content from OTT Platforms.
