1934 Swissair Tuttlingen accident

The 1934 Swissair Tuttlingen accident occurred on 27 July 1934 when a Swissair Curtiss T-32 Condor II aircraft crashed near Tuttlingen, Germany while flying through a thunderstorm, killing all 12 people on board. This photograph shows Nelly Diener, the first air stewardess in Europe, standing in front of the aircraft in which she would lose her life.
