Anil Relan, born on June 24, 1964, is a distinguished leader responsible for driving sustainable growth within Jacobs Engineering’s Life Sciences business in India and Asia. With an impressive 27 years of industry expertise under his belt, he oversees a team of 1,700 Life Sciences professionals across multiple offices, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Singapore.

Anil’s exceptional technical and project management skills play a pivotal role in guiding his teams to successfully execute large-scale projects as part of Jacobs’ Global Integrated Delivery approach. Furthermore, he is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of talent, with the Delhi operation annually recruiting 70 interns. Anil takes pride in supporting these newcomers on their journey at Jacobs, with many of them evolving into Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

For Anil, responsible leadership means taking proactive steps to address global challenges rather than merely reacting to them. His passion lies in combating climate change, and he actively supports clients on their sustainability journey by infusing digital solutions and inclusive perspectives into every project.

Anil Relan is also a passionate advocate for a culture of caring and is wholeheartedly dedicated to promoting equality. In his leadership role, he collaborates with Life Sciences clients to identify projects in emerging markets, ensuring that people in these regions have access to affordable life-saving medicines.
