Career Beginnings

Rhea Chakraborty embarked on her career in 2009, participating in MTV India’s TVS Scooty Teen Diva competition, where she emerged as the first runner-up. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty in September 2020, charging her with alleged involvement in the supply of marijuana to Sushant Singh Rajput.

After her arrest, she spent nearly a month in pretrial confinement until October 7, 2020, when she was granted bail by the Bombay High Court. The high court noted that due to her lack of criminal history, there were reasonable grounds to believe that she was not likely to commit further offenses.
