Umer Aalam is a renowned Pakistani actor, best known as the winner of the inaugural season of the TV reality show Tamasha in 2022. Born in Sialkot and raised in Rawalpindi, Aalam discovered his passion for acting during his school days, drawing inspiration from Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn.

Theatre:
Aalam began his acting journey in 2012 in Islamabad, where he honed his craft on stage until 2017. Notable productions during this period include “Siachen” by Anwar Maqsood and “Bananistan” by KopyKats Productions.

Film and Television:
Since 2018, Aalam has been actively involved in both television and film. His diverse portfolio includes projects such as “Khaas,” “Pehli Si Muhabbat,” “Shehnai,” “Raqs-e-Bismil,” “Berukhi,” “Nehar,” “Darrar,” and “Carma – The Movie.”

In 2022, Aalam clinched victory in the popular Pakistani reality show Tamasha, showcasing his talent and captivating audiences nationwide. He further showcased his versatility by co-hosting the Ramadan game show “Khel Kay Jeet” on Express Entertainment in 2023.

Notable upcoming projects include his portrayal of Saqlain Mushtaq in the biopic of former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, demonstrating Aalam’s commitment to portraying diverse and compelling characters.
